What is the difference between Friday and Saturday?

Everyone is welcome on Friday, November 8 (Creators Day) and Saturday, November 9 (Audience Day). True, Friday's focus is a bit more on podcast creators and students. But, obviously, die-hard podcast listeners and fans of Avery Trufelman, Josh Baker, Seun Matiluko, Jess Shane, Yassine Ouaich, YouTube, ... are also invited. In turn, podcast creators and students are very welcome on Saturday because we'd be genuinely surprised if they didn't find something to their liking as well.

An overview of both days

About DS Podcastfestival

DS Podcastfestival kicked off on April 1, 2022. That's how juvenile yet somewhat mature we are. Hosted by the Belgian newspaper De Standaard and Visit Oostende, we are a relatively big festival in a (still) relatively small industry. A very dynamic industry, admittedly, that appeals to a particularly enthusiastic, young, diverse, and curious audience. As a festival, we cater to this by spotlighting the most exciting cross-section of podcast creators from Belgium and abroad. From relentless investigative journalists to innovative storytellers and stellar entertainers, DS Podcastfestivals aims to showcase what podcasts are capable of.
